Super Eagles Coach invites Iheanacho, Martins for Swaziland Clash

Manchester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho was a late
inclusion in Sunday Oliseh's 24-man list of players for
the Super Eagles 2018 World Cup qualifier with
Swaziland.
Nigeria head coach Oliseh says he decided to add the
player to his initial 23-man list because he has been
following his progress at City.
Iheanacho scored in City's 5-1 defeat of Crystal Palace
on Wednesday in the Capital One cup.
Russia-based Ahmed Musa, Premier League duo of
Odion Ighalo and Alex Iwobi Ezekiel and Obafemi

strikers on the list

After releasing her first song in three years on Friday, Adele's video for Hello has gotten 27.7 million views in one day, beating TaylorSwift's previous Vevo record of 20.1 million views for Bad Blood, PEOPLE reports.
The singer will reportedly tape a one-hour special on Monday in front of a live audience titled Adele at BBC, where she will perform live for the first time since the 2013 Oscars. The special will be hosted by GrahamNorton and Adele is expected to perform songs off her upcoming album 25, which hits stores on Nov. 20.
She will also appear on SaturdayNightLive on Nov. 21 as a musical guest.

The Man who Helped bring Hip Hop to MTV passed away

The man who helped bring HipHop to the MTV audience has passed away at 59 years old. PeterDougherty,  co-creator of "Yo! MTV Raps", passed away October 12th from a heart attack.
YoMTVRaps premiered in 1988 and ran until 1995. It was the only hip-hop show on the station and was initially hosted by Fab5Freddy before being taken over by edLover and DoctorDre. Dougherty was a lover of a variety of music genres and he was always looking to push the edge. "He was always the guy who took you to the newest, coolest club, the most underground place" said colleague, Doug Herzog. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

Rihanna set to Appear on Big screen again

Rihanna is set to appear on the big screen again. The singer has snagged a role in the upcoming scifi flick titled “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.”
According to Screen Rant, the film is based on the popular French comic book series of the same name and will have a $180 million budget.
The movie reportedly starts filming in France in January 2016 and will be directed by LucBesson, who announced the news on his Instagram account.
“RIHANNA is in VALERIAN!!!!! ....and she has a big part!! I'm Sooo excited!!!,” he wrote.
The cast is said to also include nodel-turned-actress CaraDelevingne, DaneDeHaan and CliveOwen.
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is slated to hit theatres on July 21, 2017. Still no word yet though as to when Rihanna's eighth studio album ANTI will be released.

CEO of Twitter Giving Out 1% of his stock to His Employees

Twitter CEO 'JackDorsey is giving away $200 million of his own stock, or 1% of the company, to his employees. Dorsey tweeted that he's giving away one-third of his shares to the “employee equity pool to reinvest directly in our people.”
The equity will come directly from his own holdings, which The Telegraph reports amounts to roughly 21.86 million shares in total.

Dorsey also tweeted. “I'd rather have a smaller part of something big than a bigger part of something small. I'm confident we can make Twitter big!”
The move comes after Dorsey announced last week that he would be laying off more than 300 employees, or about 8% of Twitter's workforce.
He was reappointed CEO of Twitter on October 5. According to Forbes, Dorsey, 38, has an estimated net worth of $2.2 billion.

IMF warns Saudi Arabia may bankrupt in 2020

The IMF says Saudi Arabia may run out of assets within the
next five years if the government maintains its current
policies .
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned in a
report that Saudi Arabia may run out of financial assets
within the next five years if the government maintains its
current policies.
Saudi Arabia is expected to run a budget deficit of 21.6
percent in 2015 and 19.4 percent in 2016, according the
IMF’s latest regional economic outlook. The country needs
to adjust spending, the IMF urged.
The IMF says the region’s outlook is currently being shaped
by several key factors the most important of which include
deepening regional conflicts and slumping oil prices.
The conflicts have given rise to large numbers of displaced
people and refugees, on a scale not seen since the early
1990s, according to the report.
“Achieving fiscal sustainability over the medium-term will be
especially challenging given the need to create jobs for the
more than 10 million people anticipated to be looking for
work by 2020 in the region’s oil exporting countries,” IMF
Middle East and Central Asia Department Director Masood
Ahmed told journalists after the report’s unveiling in Dubai.
According to the research, many experts suggest low oil
prices will remain in place for the foreseeable future, RT
reported.
“For the region’s oil exporters, the fall in prices has led to
large fall in revenue, amounting to a staggering $360 billion
this year alone,” Masood Ahmed said.
OPEC members Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE,
Algeria and Libya have all seen their revenues drop sharply
as a result of a decline in oil prices.
Saudi Arabia is currently facing a budget deficit for the first
time since 2009.
The crude price decline has strongly influenced the
kingdom’s economy since oil sales account for about 80
percent of its revenues. It has prompted the government to
cut spending, delay projects and sell bonds.
The country’s net foreign assets fell by about $82 billion
from January to August.
The government sold state bonds worth $15 billion (55
billion riyals) this year.
The budget deficit caused project layoffs in Saudi Arabia.
Companies working on infrastructure projects haven’t been
paid for six months or more. Payment delays increased
lately as the government wants to cut prices on contracts in
order to preserve cash.
Despite the perpetual appeals to reduce output and support
crude prices, OPEC has been refusing to do so as the cartel
is trying to maintain its market share.
However, last month the cartel signaled a possible change
of stance, saying it might cut output and is ready to talk to
other (non-OPEC) producers.
But experts say OPEC’s statements are not important
without a change of policy by its biggest crude producer
Saudi Arabia.

Remember that rumor that JayZ was cheating on Beyonce with Rihanna? Turns out it was a fake story planted by Rihanna's ex-publicist ''JonathanHay.

According to celebrity biographer J. Randy Taraborelli’s tell-all “Becoming Beyoncé: The Untold Story,” Rihanna was just 17 at the time of the PR stunt, which Hay reportedly concocted to give RiRi's first single PonDeReplay a boost.

“The pr stunt that I did was out of desperation to help break ‘Pon de Replay’,” Hay told the #NewYork Daily News. “It was reckless and I didn't think it was going to work. I was just throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what would stick.”
Apparently it did stick as Taraborelli claims it caused Beyonce to split with Jay-Z for a year back in 2005.
Hay says he has personally apologized to Beyonce for spreading the rumor. But with the release of Taborelli's tell-all, he's worried that it could be bad for business.
“I was blindsided by the news of ‘Becoming Beyoncé’ coming out and it couldn't come at a worse time for me,” Hay said in a statement. “I'm currently releasing projects with my label Urban Hitchcock through Tidal, a company that is owned by Jay Z and Beyoncé ... Hopefully this news hasn't ruined that relationship for me.”
Taraborelli wrote that Jay-Z's only concern about the Rihanna rumor was her age. “Dude, she’s a minor,” he reportedly said.

BOMB ATTACK IN ADAMAWA 'NIGERIA

 
 A bomb explosion at a mosque
in Adamawa, northeastern Nigeria has killed 18 people
and injured 60 others, the Governor of the state.
The explosion occurred as worshippers observed the
weekly Jumaat service at the Jimeta area in Yola, the
Adamawa state capital on Friday.
The Yola attack occurred hours after a similar
explosion at a mosque in Maiduguri, the Borno state
capital, killing and injuring many worshippers during the
early morning prayer session.

OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI

A BRIEF TO MY PRESIDENT.

If I do not say it now my concience my worry me in the course of time. I really wish I have a quieter avenue to relate this message. Recently I've been receiving several complaint from a few very vocal ones amongst my 70K followers the world over to which I need my President to be wary of.

It may be said that it's too early to complain but those who knew US in the battle for this change will agree with me that I can never complain. On the contrary every morning when I wake up, the realisation that PMB is in power is enough all day for me. But today I can no longer speak for myself alone. I represent about 70K men, women and youths (BUHARI FOR NIGERIA PRESIDENT, ONE VOICE NIGERIA & ORS)  all over the Nation and beyond some of whom now have a feeling of being neglected for whatever reasons. It's on their behalf that I'm compelled to HUMBLY relate their recent reluctance to all my sensitisation and mobilisation efforts to My President. My only and singlular motive is to avoid a further spread of this group.

Less than 1% of my followers may have been dissatisfied with the President's Ministerial nominees and it's natural to have a dessenting openion. But they are quite an insignificant figure amongst my people. They are never a reason for this piece. For me the Presidents nominees  are the best available in the country for now.

MY PRESIDENT SIR, your people are getting hungrier by the day. And it is my humble opinion that no matter how small there is a need to send in some palliative to cushion the harsh effects of the current situation in the economy. I've discussed this with my senior members of Nigeria political scientist

As a result, my filler from kogi state and Ekiti state amongst others,  are that we are loosing followership as a result of hunger and lack of purchasing powers on the part of our followers coupled with the open invitations by Fayose And Wada. Some of them have had course to registere with our opponents in those states for stipends. They may seem insignificant, however on my part I'd rather have all men be with my President.

The change mantra has move and we must not only carry along all our followers but we must show them how relevant they are, though it's never posible to satisfy all. I therefore strongly recommend that we adopt the approach of a good humble parent who pets their famished child to sleep in an empty stomach without the child realising. My President sir, the people needs you to pat them on their back NOW and they will do more for us than we can ever imagine.

The Barca talisman is one of the favourites for the 2015
Ballon d'Or but faces strong competition from Real Madrid
star Ronaldo, with the Portugal captain having lifted the
award on the past two occasions.
Despite talk of a rivalry between the pair, Messi insists
Ronaldo -- who hit a career-best of 61 goals for Los
Blancos last term and recently became Madrid's all-top top
scorer -- is not his nemesis.
"These are things that people say," the three-time Ballon
d'Or winner said. "I don't compete with Cristiano and I
suppose he would not compete with me. What I want is the
very best for my teams and that's what I am working for.
"[I'm] the same as any other sportsman that has to
complete his training regime and then do just the same as
any other person does and rest with his family and friends."
Messi tore the internal collateral ligament of his left knee
early in Barca's 2-1 La Liga win against Las Palmas on
Sept. 26, and is currently out of action.
Regarding his enforced absence, Messi said: "[The injury]
was a strange feeling, different from other times. I knew
that it wasn't a minor hit and that it was something more
serious than just a slight knock.
"[I'm] upbeat, wanting to get on with my recovery. Being
injured is the worst feeling in the world for a sportsman, but
right from the start I accepted that I had an injury and that
the only thing to do was to recover from it the best way
possible. The most important thing for me is to be at 100
percent fitness.
"I knew I was injured right from the start, and although at
first you are obviously worried, after the diagnosis and all
the repercussions emanating from the injury you
understand that you have to be patient. I don't think it was
difficult for me to accept and take on board."
Messi is optimistic about his return date, saying: "When the
way I'm feeling and the doctors tell me that I can. I am
improving every day without setting myself any targets. I
have always said that I don't set myself any dates because
it isn't up to me. As much as I would like to play tomorrow,
the doctors wouldn't let me. When they tell me that I have
recovered completely will be the time that I will make my
return onto the pitch."
Nutritionist Giuliano Poser confirmed in July he helped
Messi change his diet which led to the forward's fine
2014-15 campaign, but Messi said there were no
extraordinary changes.
"This is something else about which there has been many
false things said," he continued. "My diet prohibits me from
eating certain things that were doing me harm but that
doesn't mean that I've changed my whole diet or my
physical training.
"There were some changes or replacements that worked
well and I enjoy a full diet and nothing out of the ordinary."
Messi said that the birth of his second son Mateo in
September has not changed his approach to football, but
helps him to move beyond the game when away from the
pitch.
"In a footballing sense nothing has changed but perhaps
maybe it has in regards to facing those responsibilities that
any father has with regards to the raising of his children,"
he added. "I still hate losing a game, but when I arrive home
I do know that I will have the consolation of seeing my
sons.
"Unfortunately we live in a society that lives at 1,000
kilometres an hour, and in a sport as popular as football
that grows and grows and becomes the escape valve for
the problems of many people.
"I don't need to impress anyone because that isn't why I
play. I play because I like it and because it is my
profession...

OGUN GOVERNMENT PAYS PENSIONEERS

The Ogun Bureau of Local Government Pensions says it
has paid about N2.7 billion as pensions from January to
September, an official said on Thursday.
Mr Ayotunde Kolawole, the Permanent Secretary in the
Bureau, disclosed this in Abeokuta during an oversight visit
to the bureau by members of Ogun House of Assembly
Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
He said the affected pensioners were retired council
workers, teaching and non-teaching staff in primary
schools.
The permanent secretary said the amount was paid from
the monthly allocation the bureau received from the State/
Councils’ Joint Allocation Accounts Committee (JAAC).
He said that the bureau had also paid N43.3 million as
gratuities to the same category of pensioners during the
period.
Kolawole, however, said the amount would be enhanced if
the state government paid its contributions to the Local
Government Staff Pension Fund.
He said the bureau was saddled with the management of
the old pay-as-you-go and the new Contributory Pension
Scheme (CPS) for all the affected pensioners.
Kolawole disclosed that the total number of pensioners
being managed by the agency was 8,372 as at September.
Responding, Mr O dofin Sonuga, the committee chairman,
urged the bureau to organise seminars for stakeholders
regularly in order to fine-tune the pension scheme.
He also advised the bureau to use the system adopted by
other states that had been worked well to improve on the
state’s local government pensions scheme.
Sonuga urged the bureau to always collaborate with the
Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, the
Local Government Service Commission and the House of
Assembly to ensure the growth of the scheme.

Two NIGERIA'S SOLDIER KILLED IN BOKO HARAM ATTACK

Two Nigerian soldiers have been killed in suspected
Boko Haram attack.
The Nigerian defense minister Karidjo Mahamadou said
that the casualties came in Niger’s southeast on
Wednesday after Nigerian  troops attacked the would-be
bombers, triggering their explosive devices.
Four attackers attempted to enter the town of Diffa on
Wednesday morning but were intercepted 10 km (six
miles) outside and then attacked by security forces.
However, at least one of the militants still managed to
detonate an explosive device.
"Two of our soldiers died after being hit by the
explosion," Karidio Mahamadou told reporters. Three
others were injured.
Diffa has witnessed several attacks since February,
including one in June in which 38 people lost their
lives..

$105M TO SUPPORT SOMALI REFUGEES IN KENYA

Donors have pledged 105 million U.S. dollars to support
Somali refugees in Kenya and help them voluntarily
return home.
The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)-
backed conference saw representatives from over 40
countries and organizations pledge to provide training
and job opportunities for 10,000 returnees in Somalia.
During the pledging conference hosted by the European
Commission and UNHCR in Geneva, the world
committed resources to a plan of action designed to
improve socio-economic conditions in Somalia and
camps in Kenya.
The EU also committed 68 million dollars to support the
course.

Senate Screened Amaechi

After three failed attempts, the Nigerian Senate has
screened the immediate past governor of Rivers state
and a ministerial nominee, Rotimi Amaechi.
Although opposition PDP Senators did not partake in
the question and answer session, Amaechi fielded
questions from ruling APC senators for about one hour.
Responding to the senators' questions, Amaechi
presented a copy of the report of the panel set up by
Gov. Nyesom Wike to probe his administration for
alleged corruption.
"There was nowhere i was indicted, i have never taken
bribe in my life," he said.
In the view of the two-term Speaker of the Rivers state
House of assembly, government's investment in
agriculture, technology and energy would go
a long way to reduce the country's high rate of
unemployment.
He also called for an amendment to the constitution
such that the president would attach portfolios to
nominees' list to assist in the screening process.

Chris Rock To Host Oscar

ChrisRock will host the 2016 #Oscars. This is the second time the comedian has been tapped to host the ceremony. In 2005, the comedian hosted the 77th #Academy Awards.
“Chris Rock is truly the MVP of the entertainment industry," Academy Awards producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin said in a statement. “Comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, documentarian -- he's done it all. He's going to be a phenomenal Oscar host!”
As for Chris Rock, he says he's “glad to be hosting the Oscars” and that “It's great to be back.”
The 88th Academy Awards will air February 28 on #ABC. Will you be tuning in?

Pop Star Rihanna has revealed to the ‘The New York Times’
that she would stage a free concert in West Africa if she
ever get the time to visit.
Speaking about her career, racism in the music industry
amongst other issues, she said: “You know what? If I ever
go to West Africa, it would probably be for a free concert. I
would want to do something for the people there. Maybe we
can make a whole event, the way Bob Marley would have
done it. Just for the people. And if they climb over the gate,
let them climb over the gate.”
Rihanna added that she also looks out for something more
in men before she goes on a date.
“I hope for the best, and I always look for that little bit of
good, that potential, and I wait for it to blossom.
“You want them to feel good being a man, but now men are
afraid to be men. They think being a real man is actually
being a pussy, that if you take a chair out for a lady, or
you’re nice or even affectionate to your girl in front of your

Khloe Calls Off Divorce

Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom have jointly gone to court to dismiss their divorce case. The couple has decided to remain husband-and-wife.

Khloe's lawyer, Laura Wasser went before a judge this morning (10/21/15), requesting the withdrawal of the papers they both signed to end their marriage. The file was sitting in a pile waiting to be processed.
The judge granted Wasser's request and the file is now dead.

Khloe filed for divorce in December 2013, but sat on it for a year and a half because she tried to save her marriage by trying to get Lamar into rehab. She finally gave up this summer.

Khloe privately vowed to be by Lamar's side during his recovery, which will take months, and a few days ago they both agreed to give their marriage another chance. They both signed the document Wasser presented to the judge, asking that the divorce case be dismissed. Lamar signed Tuesday from his hospital bed and Wasser signed on behalf of Koko.

It was allegedly Lamar Odom' Drug use to that make know headed to the divorce lawyer and ironically it is the same thing that is bringing her back.
