Buhari inaugurates new cabinet

Nigeria's President Muhammadu
Buhari has sworn-in thirty ministers and announced
their portfolios.
The swearing-in ceremony which took place at the
Council Chamber inside the presidential villa, Abuja on
Wednesday was well attended by all the thirty-six
ministers and two guests each.
Also in attendance were the vice President Yemi
Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker of
House of Representatives, Secretary to the Government
of the Federation, Babachair Lawal among others.
President Buhari in his address at the swearing-in
ceremony, said the new ministers must proceed to work
speedily.
The list of the ministers and their portfolios as
announced by the president is as follows;
1. Amina Mohammed – Minister for Environment
2. Hadi Sirika – Minister of State Aviation
3. Kayode Fayemi – Minister of Solid Minerals
4. Solomon Dalung- Minister for Youth and Sports
5. Chris Ngige- Minister of Labour and Employment
6. Rotimi Amaechi – Minister of Transport
7. Mohammed Bello – FCT Minister
8. Ogbonnaya Onu- Minister of Science and Technology
9. Audu Ogbeh- Minister of Agriculture and Natural
Resources
10. Raji Fashola- Minister of Power,Works & Housing
11. Kemi Adeosun – Finance Minister
12. Abubakar Malami – Justice Minister
13. Udoma Udo Udoma – Minister for Budget and
National Planning
14. Abdulrahaman Danbazau – Minister of Interior
15. Masur Maman Dan ALi – Minister of Defence
16. Lai Mohammed-Minister of Information
17. Aisha Alhassan- Minister of Women Affairs
